The Story So Far Announce Fall North American Tour With The Starting Line

The Story So Far are back on the road. The Walnut Creek, California pop-punk staples just announced a 13-date North American tour for fall 2026, and the lineup is stacked. The Starting Line and Ultra Q will be joining them as support across every date.
The tour kicks off October 17 in Virginia Beach, VA and runs through November 5, wrapping up at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ. In between, the band is hitting rooms that pop-punk fans know well. Terminal 5 in New York. The Fillmore in Charlotte. The Midland Theatre in Kansas City. And if you're in the New Jersey area, they're coming through Starland Ballroom in Sayreville on October 20, which is going to be one of the rowdiest stops on this entire run.
Starland Ballroom and the Jersey Scene
I'll be real, if you've ever been to a pop-punk show at Starland Ballroom, you already know what this one is going to feel like. That room has a way of making every show feel personal. It's the perfect size for a band like The Story So Far. Tight, loud, and the energy just bounces off the walls. The October 20 date is going to sell fast, so if you're anywhere in the tri-state area, put that one at the top of your list.
A Support Lineup That Makes Sense
The Starting Line opening this tour is a big deal. The Philadelphia pop-punk band has been around since 1999 and had a massive resurgence last year with the release of Eternal Youth, their first studio album in 18 years. That record dropped in September 2025 on their own label, Lineage Recordings, and honestly it felt like a moment for anyone who grew up on The Best of Me and Island. Getting to see them share a bill with The Story So Far is the kind of pairing that just works.
Ultra Q rounds out the bill as a newer act worth keeping your eye on. If you show up early, you won't regret it.
Where the Band Is Right Now
The Story So Far have been on a strong run lately. Their fifth studio album, I Want to Disappear, came out in June 2024 on Pure Noise Records and was their first full-length in six years, following 2018's Proper Dose. They toured behind it through fall 2025 and are also slated to appear on the 2026 Vans Warped Tour. The band is locked in right now, and this fall run feels like an extension of that momentum.
It's also worth noting this tour includes a stop in Toronto at History on October 28. If you know the story, the band was famously banned from playing the Mod Club back in 2016 after frontman Parker Cannon dropkicked a fan off the stage during a set. That ban stuck for years, so seeing them return to Toronto at a different venue is a notable full-circle moment.
