Shaky Knees 2026 Lineup Features Strokes Gorillaz Twenty One Pilots

Atlanta's Shaky Knees Music Festival just dropped their 2026 lineup and honestly, it's absolutely stacked. The Strokes, Gorillaz, and Twenty One Pilots are headlining the three-day event at Piedmont Park from September 18-20.
This marks the festival's 13th anniversary, and they're celebrating big. The lineup runs deep with LCD Soundsystem, Pavement, Turnstile, Wu-Tang Clan, Japanese Breakfast, Blood Orange, and Modest Mouse all making appearances. Over 50 artists will hit four stages across the weekend.
What Makes This Year Different
Last year's move to Piedmont Park was a massive success, and they're doubling down on that energy. The venue change from the festival's original location gives them way more space to work with, and you can feel it in this lineup. They're bringing heavier acts like Pierce The Veil and Knocked Loose alongside indie darlings like Geese and electronic acts like Snow Strippers.
The timing's perfect too. Gorillaz are dropping their new record The Mountain on February 27, so they'll have fresh material to showcase. Twenty One Pilots released Breach last September, and The Strokes are still riding the wave from 2020's The New Abnormal.
The Deep Cuts You Can't Miss

Beyond the headliners, this lineup has some serious gems. Geordie Greep from Black Midi is doing solo work that's absolutely wild. Psychedelic Porn Crumpets brings that Australian psych-rock energy that hits different at festivals. And Violet Grohl is making her first confirmed festival appearance as a solo artist.
The nostalgia factor is real too. Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed and Cambria are going to transport you straight back to 2005, but in the best possible way.
Getting Your Tickets
Here's what you need to know. Presale tickets go live this Thursday, February 26 at 9 AM ET. You can sign up for the SMS presale list on the Shaky Knees website to get early access. If tickets are still available after presale, they'll go to general public sale.
They're offering layaway options with just $25 down, which is clutch for a lineup this massive. VIP packages include everything from GA+ lounges with premium views to Ultimate packages with on-stage viewing and golf cart transportation.
This is The Strokes' year on the festival circuit with Coachella and Bonnaroo also on their schedule, but Atlanta in September is going to hit different. Don't sleep on this one.
