Lil Wayne isn't done celebrating. After a massive 2025 run that included sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden, Crypto.com Arena, and State Farm Arena, Weezy just announced a brand new leg of dates for 2026. The tour is called Lil Wayne: 20 Years of Carter Classics, and it's hitting 29 cities from coast to coast starting this summer.

If you've been following the Tha Carter series since day one, you already know what this means. The original Tha Carter dropped on June 29, 2004. Twenty years and six albums later, Wayne is still one of the most important voices in hip-hop. Tha Carter III debuted at number one and went multi-platinum. Tha Carter VI, which came out in June 2025, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 108,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The man hasn't slowed down.

The Support Lineup

This isn't a solo affair. Grammy winner 2 Chainz will be joining as a special guest for the majority of the dates, and The Game is supporting on select shows. Honestly, that's a stacked bill. Wayne and 2 Chainz together on stage is always a good time, and throwing The Game into the mix just makes the whole thing feel like a proper celebration of that era.

How to Get Tickets

Presales are already rolling out. Citi cardmembers got first access on March 18, with artist and Live Nation presales following shortly after. General tickets go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.

Here's the move that caught my attention though. Wayne posted a special 2-for-$75 ticket offer on his Instagram story as a thank you to day-one fans. The code is DAYONES, and it's available while supplies last. That's a legitimately good deal for an arena tour of this caliber.

Why This Tour Matters

I'll be real, Tha Carter series isn't just a collection of albums. It's a defining chapter in hip-hop. From the original Tha Carter in 2004 to Tha Carter II in 2005, the multi-platinum Tha Carter III in 2008, and all the way through to Tha Carter VI last year, Wayne has been one of the most consistent forces in the game. More than two decades of era-defining records, chart dominance, and five Grammys. This tour is a proper victory lap for all of it.

The 2025 leg already proved that the demand is there. Sold-out arenas, Tyga holding it down as support, and a setlist that pulled from every chapter of the Carter catalog. Now with 2 Chainz and The Game joining the new dates, the energy is only going to be bigger.

Don't sleep on that DAYONES code. Grab a friend, grab two tickets for $75, and go see one of the greatest to ever do it while he's celebrating the music that shaped a generation. Tickets go live for the general public on Friday, March 20 at Ticketmaster.
