Kittie Just Added an Intimate LA Show at the Echoplex Before Anaheim

Kittie just quietly dropped one of the most exciting LA shows of the summer, and if you blink you're going to miss it. The band is playing the Echoplex in Los Angeles on June 11th, one night before their Legacy of Fire Tour date at the House of Blues in Anaheim. This is a separate, standalone show in a room that holds roughly 660 people. Let that sink in.
Special guests for the night are Kingdom of Giants and Gore, the same support acts on the full tour. Artist presale kicks off tomorrow, April 28th at 10 AM PT with the code KITTIELA. General on-sale is Friday, May 1st at 10 AM PT.
Why This Show Is a Big Deal
I'll be real, the Echoplex is one of my favorite rooms in LA. It's a legendary spot tucked in the basement of the Echo in Echo Park. The venue has hosted everyone from Nine Inch Nails to Kendrick Lamar to the Rolling Stones over the years, and there's a reason artists keep coming back to it. The sound is great, the energy in that room is unmatched, and at roughly 660 capacity you're genuinely close to the stage no matter where you're standing.
Now picture Kittie in that room. A band celebrating 30 years, riding their biggest wave in over a decade, playing to a crowd that small. This is the kind of show people talk about for years. The Anaheim House of Blues date on June 12th is going to be incredible too, but the Echoplex show is a completely different experience. Intimate doesn't even begin to cover it.
The Legacy of Fire Tour
For anyone who hasn't been following, the Legacy of Fire Tour is Kittie's first full North American headline run in over ten years. It's a 16-date trip celebrating 30 years of the band, kicking off June 6th in St. Louis and wrapping in Montreal on June 27th. The band put it best in their announcement: "Thirty years ago, we ignited a spark. Three decades later, that fire is still burning, stronger and more focused than ever."
The momentum behind this tour is real. Fire, their 2024 comeback album through Sumerian Records, was their first record in thirteen years and landed on just about every year-end list that mattered. Consequence ranked it among the best metal and hard rock albums of 2024. Metal Hammer put it at number three in Kittie's entire discography. Then in 2025 they followed it up with Spit XXV, a re-recorded EP revisiting tracks from their debut. This band is not just back, they're operating at a level that's bringing in a whole new generation of fans alongside the day-ones.

The Support Acts
Kingdom of Giants is a Sacramento metalcore band that's been steadily building since 2010. They dropped their Bleeding Star EP in 2024 and were part of the stacked Summer of Loud 2025 tour alongside Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, and I Prevail. They bring serious energy live and they're the kind of band that wins over rooms fast.
Gore is a Texas trio that formed in 2023 and has already caught cosigns from Motionless in White, Papa Roach, and Flyleaf. Their sound pulls from metalcore, nu-metal, shoegaze, and even a little pop. They recently signed to Spinefarm Records. Honestly, if you haven't checked them out yet, this is a great way to see them in a small room before that becomes impossible.
