Just Like Heaven just dropped its 2026 lineup and honestly, they outdid themselves. The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem are co-headlining the sixth edition of the festival, set for Saturday, August 22 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. If you've been waiting for a reason to spend a late summer day outside surrounded by some of the best indie and dance music of the last two decades, this is it.

Passes go on sale Friday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. PST through justlikeheavenfest.com. GA starts at $209, VIP at $439, and the Clubhouse pass at $699. There's also a $49.99 down payment plan if you don't want to drop it all at once. You can register now on the site to get early access.

The Headliners

I'll be real, seeing The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem on the same bill is the kind of thing that would've broken the internet in 2007. In 2026 it still hits. The Strokes have been riding the momentum of The New Abnormal, their 2020 comeback record that reminded everyone why they mattered in the first place. They're also headlining Shaky Knees in Atlanta this September, so they're clearly in festival mode this year.

LCD Soundsystem on the other hand have been teasing new material for a while now. Their last full album, American Dream, came out in 2017 and was their first number-one record in the U.S. James Murphy and the band have dropped singles like X-Ray Eyes since then, and a new album has reportedly been in the works. By the time August rolls around there could be a whole batch of new songs in the set. That's reason enough to be there.

The Rest of the Lineup is Stacked

Beyond the headliners, this card is deep. TV Girl is making their only U.S. appearance of the year at this festival, which alone is going to move a lot of passes. Chromeo is always a good time. The Rapture showing up on this lineup feels absolutely right given the festival's love for mid-2000s energy. Feist, Dayglow, Whitney, Porches, STRFKR, and George Clanton round out a mid-card that most festivals would kill for.

You've also got Coco & Clair Clair, Ekkstacy, Matt and Kim, Pixel Grip, This is Lorelei, Tanlines, Girl Tones, and Them Jeans filling out the undercard. It's the kind of lineup where you're genuinely going to have conflicts all day. A Club Called Rhonda will also be running a dance party throughout the day, which if you know Rhonda, you know that's going to be a whole thing.

Twin Peaks Are Back

One of the bigger stories buried in this lineup is Twin Peaks. The Chicago garage rock band went on an indefinite hiatus during the pandemic after releasing the Side A EP in 2020, and their last full album was Lookout Low back in 2019. This is their only appearance outside of Chicago this year, so if you've been missing them, Pasadena is where you need to be.

New Date, Same Energy

Worth noting that Just Like Heaven is shifting from its usual May slot to August this year. That means Pasadena heat, so plan accordingly. But the Rose Bowl grounds are beautiful and the festival has always done a good job keeping the vibe tight for a single-day event. Six years in and they clearly know what they're doing. The lineup stays true to that 2000s indie and dance DNA while mixing in enough newer acts to keep things fresh.

Don't Sleep On This One

Honestly, this is one of those lineups that speaks for itself. The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem headlining the same day with TV Girl making their only U.S. stop of the year and Twin Peaks coming out of a five-year hiatus? That's a no-brainer. Passes go on sale Friday, March 20 at 11 a.m. PST at justlikeheavenfest.com. Get registered for pre-sale access now because these are going to move.
