Boston Manor Are Playing Be Nothing in Full for the First Time Ever

Ten years ago, Boston Manor dropped Be Nothing. and completely changed the trajectory of their band. Now they're celebrating the album that started it all with a reworked anniversary edition and a full headline tour where they'll play the record front to back for the very first time.

The Be Nothing. 10 Year Anniversary Edition arrives August 14 via Pure Noise Records. It'll feature acoustic reworkings of some of the album's biggest tracks, including "Lead Feet" and "Laika." The acoustic version of "Lead Feet" is already out now if you want a taste of what they've been working on.

If you've been following along, you might've caught the buildup. The band had been sending out mysterious postcards to fans with artwork that looked a lot like the original Be Nothing. cover. On the back were the opening lines of "Lead Feet" and today's date. They also played the album in its entirety at Slam Dunk Festival 2026, giving fans a preview of what the full tour experience is going to look like.

Why This Album Matters

For anyone who wasn't around for it, Be Nothing. originally came out on September 30, 2016, and it put this Blackpool band on the map in a serious way. Produced by Neil Kennedy, the record was praised for blending different rock styles into something that felt cohesive and genuinely exciting for a debut. Sputnikmusic gave it a 4 out of 5, calling it "one of the most well-crafted and thought-out debuts." That's not a small statement for a band's first full-length.

The album opened doors that the band never expected. They went from a group that was nervous about headlining their first UK and EU tour to selling out every date. They toured with Moose Blood, Have Mercy, and Knuckle Puck across North America and played Warped Tour alongside acts like Movements, Trophy Eyes, and Knocked Loose. That's a pretty wild stage to share.

Singer Henry Cox put it well: "Having more time now to reflect, it's given me such a fondness for the record. In our heads, we wrote it off as a pop-punk record, but I can hear so many nuances. I think it holds up today as an artefact in its own right."

Bassist Dan Cunniff echoed that sentiment, saying the album "did more than we thought it would do for us" and that it gave the band the confidence that they could be a "real" band. I'll be real, that kind of honesty about your own debut a decade later? That's the good stuff.

The tour kicks off in the US in November before wrapping up with some intimate UK shows in December. No support acts have been announced yet, but I'd expect that to change soon. Here's the full routing.

Two nights in both Manchester and London. If you know the capacity of Gorilla and The Garage, you know these are going to be packed, sweaty, incredible rooms for this kind of show. Honestly, those might sell out fast.

Worth noting that the November 14 Orlando date is part of Vans Warped Tour 2026, not a standalone headline show. Full circle moment considering the band's history with Warped Tour.

How to Get Tickets

UK tickets go on sale May 29 at 10am BST. For US dates, no specific on-sale time has been confirmed yet, so keep an eye on bostonmanorband.com for updates. You can also check Ticketmaster for US dates and Gigantic for UK dates.

The Bigger Picture

Boston Manor have come a long way since those early days in Blackpool. From Be Nothing. in 2016 through Welcome to the Neighbourhood in 2018, Glue in 2020, and Sundiver in 2024, the band has evolved in a way that makes revisiting the debut feel even more special. They've played Download, Reading & Leeds, Slam Dunk, and supported acts like Good Charlotte and A Day to Remember. The growth is real.

They're also currently out supporting Enter Shikari on their North America 2026 tour, which is a completely separate run from the anniversary dates. So if you catch them this summer, just know the fall shows are going to be an entirely different experience.

If you haven't listened to Be Nothing. in a while, go put it on. "Burn You Up," "Lead Feet," "Laika," "Fossa". That album holds up. And hearing it played live, in full, in rooms like Music Hall of Williamsburg and The Garage? Don't sleep on this one. Grab tickets the second they go live.
