Bleeding Through Bringing The Truth Anniversary Tour to the Pacific Northwest

Bleeding Through just announced three Pacific Northwest shows this June, and if you've been waiting for these guys to come back through, this is it. The run celebrates 20 years of their album The Truth, and they're bringing some serious firepower along with them.

The band put it plainly: "Pacific Northwest! We are coming back! This is not an April Fools prank. Three shows to celebrate 20 years of our record 'The Truth' in our favorite neck of the woods." Can't argue with that energy.

The Dates

Here's what the run looks like:

June 12 — Seattle, WA @ El Corazon

June 13 — Vancouver, BC @ Rickshaw Theatre

June 14 — Portland, OR @ Nova PDX

Three shows, three nights, three cities that consistently show up for heavy music. El Corazon in Seattle is a staple for this kind of show. Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver is one of the best rooms in the city for live music. And Nova PDX keeps Portland's heavy scene fed. All solid picks.

20 Years of The Truth

For those unfamiliar, The Truth is Bleeding Through's fourth studio album, originally released on January 10, 2006. It was produced by Rob Caggiano, who was the lead guitarist of Anthrax at the time. The record hit different when it dropped, and it still holds up. The fact that the band is building a proper anniversary celebration around it says everything about what this album means to them and their fans.

I'll be real, anniversary tours where a band plays the record front to back are some of the best shows you can catch. There's something about hearing an album the way it was meant to be heard, in sequence, in a room full of people who know every word. Expect the band to center their set around The Truth in its entirety.

The Support

Joining the bill are I Declare War and Extortionist. Both are strong picks that fit this bill perfectly.

I Declare War is a deathcore band out of Seattle, so this is basically a homecoming show for them on the first night. They've been at it since the mid-2000s and have built a loyal following in the heavy scene.

Extortionist is a five-piece deathcore and metalcore outfit based out of the Northwest. Founded in 2013, they've been steadily building their reputation and are a natural fit for this run.

The band also mentioned more acts will be added to the bill, so keep an eye on announcements.

Where Bleeding Through Stands Right Now

Bleeding Through has been far from inactive. Their most recent album, Nine, dropped on February 14, 2025, proving the band still has plenty left in the tank. The current lineup features drummer Derek Youngsma, keyboardist Marta Demmel, and guitarists John Arnold and Brandon Richter. With over 400,000 albums sold worldwide, they've more than earned these celebration runs.

These Pacific Northwest dates are part of a larger The Truth anniversary tour that has included dates across Texas and other regions alongside bands like God Forbid. The PNW leg is its own thing though, and honestly, these smaller runs through specific regions tend to hit harder than massive national tours.
