The timing couldn't be better. Beartooth just dropped their first new single in three years, and they're doing it while on one of the biggest rock tours of 2026. Free marks the start of a new chapter for Caleb Shomo's band, and honestly, it sounds like they're just getting started.

The new track was co-written and co-produced by Jordan Fish, and it's hitting while Beartooth is out supporting Bad Omens on their massive Do You Feel Love North American arena tour. We're talking Little Caesars Arena in Detroit tonight, Target Center in Minneapolis this weekend. These are the biggest stages Beartooth has ever played.

New Label, New Sound

Here's what makes this even bigger. Free is Beartooth's first release on Fearless Records. They've moved on from Red Bull Records, and Shomo sounds genuinely excited about the change. He says Fearless has empowered him as an artist like nothing he's ever experienced, and that they care about the music first.

The song itself captures something different for Beartooth. Where past records chronicled survival, Free marks a turning point. Shomo describes it as the start of the next chapter of his music and life, capturing a moment of clarity inside chaos. It's a glimpse of what's coming from the next Beartooth album, which he calls the most honest depiction of his soul he'll probably ever make.

Perfect Timing for Arena Push

This tour with Bad Omens and PRESIDENT runs through March 27, hitting massive venues like TD Garden in Boston, American Airlines Center in Dallas, and wrapping up at Oakland Arena. These are career-defining shows for both bands.

For context, Beartooth is coming off their biggest album cycle yet. 2023's The Surface hit No. 1 on Billboard Hard Rock Albums and delivered back-to-back No. 1 singles at Active Rock radio with I Was Alive and Might Love Myself. They've got over 1.3 billion streams worldwide and recently crushed amphitheaters on the Summer of Loud tour with Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive and I Prevail.

If you haven't grabbed tickets to this tour yet, you're running out of time. Check Ticketmaster or LiveNation.com for remaining dates. This is Beartooth at their biggest, and they're just getting started with this new era.
