Armor for Sleep Announces There Is No Summer Headlining Tour

Armor for Sleep just gave us one of the best tour announcements of the year. The New Jersey emo icons are heading out on a 24-date headlining run this summer called There Is No Summer, kicking off June 11 in Richmond, VA and wrapping up July 12 on Long Island, NY. If you've been waiting for the right time to catch this band live, this is it.

The tour name is a clever nod to the band's latest album, There Is No Memory, which dropped November 7, 2025 through Equal Vision Records. But it's also a reflection of how Armor for Sleep has always described their music. Their songs come from a fall and winter state of mind. So naturally, they're taking that energy straight into summer and flipping it on its head.

Catalogue Deep Cuts and Fan-Voted Setlists

Here's what makes this run special. The band has said they'll be playing songs from their entire catalogue every night. That means cuts from Dream to Make Believe, What to Do When You Are Dead, Smile for Them, The Rain Museum, and There Is No Memory. Five albums deep spanning over two decades of music. That's a massive setlist pool to pull from.

On top of that, a portion of the setlist will be voted on by fans. The band said more details on that are coming soon. Honestly, for a band with a back catalogue this beloved, letting the fans have a say is such a smart move. Every night could be a completely different experience.

A New Chapter for the Band

This tour also marks a significant moment for Armor for Sleep. Original members PJ DeCicco and Anthony DiIonno departed in late 2024, and the current lineup now features Ben Jorgensen and Nash Breen alongside lead guitarist Erik Rudic and bassist Chad Sabo. The band already took this lineup out on the road last fall when they joined Senses Fail and Story of the Year on the Scream Team Tour. But this will be their first major headline run with the new lineup, and it feels like the start of a new era.

If you haven't checked out There Is No Memory yet, I'll be real, you should fix that before this tour starts. The album is Ben Jorgensen at his most raw and personal. While The Rain Museum leaned more fictional and metaphorical, this record is grounded and direct. It hits different.

The Support Bill Is Stacked

Joining the tour are Spanish Love Songs and Flycatcher. Both acts have been on a tear lately and fit this bill perfectly.

Spanish Love Songs are the LA-based punk rock outfit behind records like Brave Faces Everyone and No Joy. They also released a collaborative EP called A Brief Intermission in the Flattening of Time in November 2025 through Pure Noise Records, featuring guests like Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years and Kevin Devine. If you know, you know. These guys are one of the best live bands in the scene right now.

Flycatcher hails from New Brunswick, New Jersey, making this a very Garden State-heavy lineup alongside Armor for Sleep. They released their debut full-length, Wrench, in October 2025 via Will Yip's Memory Music label. The record leans into post-hardcore territory and features a guest appearance from Brianna Collins of Tigers Jaw. Keep an eye on this band.
