Silverstein and Story of the Year Announce Camp Screamo 2 Tour Dates

Silverstein and Story of the Year clearly aren't done with each other yet. The two scene legends just announced Camp Screamo 2, the second leg of their co-headlining tour, and this time they're bringing Stand Atlantic and Footballhead along for the ride. Nineteen dates across North America, kicking off November 16 in Seattle and wrapping December 13 in Boston.

Why This Tour Matters

I'll be real, when the first leg of Camp Screamo was announced earlier this year, it felt overdue. These two bands have been friends for over two decades and somehow never toured the U.S. together until this summer. Silverstein frontman Shane Told even called it "illegal" that it hadn't happened sooner. The first leg with Origami Angel as support kicked off in July, and clearly it went well enough to warrant a full fall run.

Both bands are also coming in hot with fresh material. Silverstein dropped Antibloom in February 2025 as the first half of a double album project, with Pink Moon following later that year. The whole thing was recorded at Fireside Sound in Joshua Tree with producer Sam Guaiana. Over 25 years deep into their career and they're still pushing themselves. Story of the Year released A.R.S.O.N. back in February 2026 through SharpTone Records. The title stands for "All Rage, Still Only Numb," and it was produced by Colin Brittain, who also happens to be the current drummer for Linkin Park. Expect setlists that pull from across both catalogs.

The Support Lineup

The support swap from Leg 1 to Leg 2 is interesting. Stand Atlantic is a great get here. Their most recent album Was Here hit number 3 on the ARIA charts when it came out in August 2024, and they've got their fifth studio album GODBREATH dropping October 23 through Virgin Music Group. That's just weeks before the tour starts, so the timing couldn't be better.

Footballhead is the one to watch if you don't know them yet. The Chicago-based project led by Ryan Nolen channels the poppier side of '90s radio rock with big guitars and bubblegum hooks. Think early Jimmy Eat World meets Third Eye Blind. Nolen has also teamed up with Adam Siska from The Academy Is... and Say Anything. They released Weight of the Truth in March 2026 through Tiny Engines. Solid opener for this bill.

Don't Sleep on This

Honestly, this is one of those tours where every band on the bill makes sense together. You've got two bands that helped define the mid-2000s scene, both with new records that prove they haven't run out of ideas, plus a support lineup that bridges the gap to a newer generation. Silverstein has over 500 million streams and a catalog that goes way beyond Discovering the Waterfront at this point. Story of the Year still carries the weight of Page Avenue while sounding hungry on A.R.S.O.N.. If you haven't seen either of them live yet, this is your chance.
