Muse, Babymetal, President and More Announce Massive 2026 Tours

The last few weeks have been absolutely relentless for tour announcements. If you've been refreshing your feed wondering what's next, here's the rundown. We're talking Muse with a stacked summer bill, Babymetal headlining North America, President stepping out on their own for the first time, and two festivals with lineups that genuinely caught me off guard. Let's get into it.

Muse: The WOW! Signal Tour

Muse just announced The WOW! Signal Tour, a 26-city North American run in support of their upcoming album The WOW! Signal, dropping June 26 via Warner Records and Helium-3. The tour kicks off July 5 in St. Louis and wraps August 31 at the Hollywood Bowl. That's a proper closer right there.

The support lineup is what really makes this one stand out. The Temper Trap are on all dates, with Bloc Party and Portugal. The Man joining on select dates. That's a bill that covers a lot of ground and honestly, any of those three could headline their own show. Cities include Cincinnati, Toronto, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, and plenty more. General ticket sales start April 3 at 10 a.m. local time. You can grab tickets through Ticketmaster or check dates at muse.mu.

Babymetal: North American Headline Run

Babymetal are going big in 2026. The run starts August 30 in San Diego as support for My Chemical Romance, then transitions into a 20-date North American headline tour wrapping October 3 in Sacramento. Halestorm and Violent Vira are providing support on the headline dates.

I'll be real, the momentum Babymetal have built is pretty wild. Metal Forth debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, making them the first all-Japanese fronted group to ever hit the U.S. Top 10. Now they've got a deluxe edition of Metal Forth dropping June 26 via Capitol Records. The Latin American leg follows later, running November 28 in São Paulo through December 12 in Mexico City.

Artist presale begins April 6 at 10 a.m. local time (sign up by April 5 on their site). Citi presale also starts April 6, with general on-sale Friday, April 10. Full details at babymetal.com.

President: First North American Headline Tour

If you've been paying attention, you already know President. The masked, anonymous band went from viral sensation to touring with Architects and Bad Omens seemingly overnight. Now they're stepping up to headline their own North American run for the first time.

The tour launches September 4 in Nashville, heads through the Midwest and East Coast, dips south, then crosses back across the country to wrap October 14 in Dallas. Cenobia and Showing Teeth will be providing support on select dates. Their debut EP King of Terrors dropped in fall 2025, and despite operating under total anonymity, the band has already stacked up multi-million streams. Tickets go on sale April 3 at 10 a.m. local, with artist and Citi presales beginning April 2 at presidentband.com.

Malevolence and Guilt Trip: UK Heavy Hitters Hit North America

This one's for the hardcore crowd. Malevolence and Guilt Trip are co-headlining the "United Kingdom Metal and Hardcore Across North America 2026" tour, which is about as direct a name as you can get. Both bands are proudly flying the flag for UK metal and hardcore, specifically the north of England scene. It's Malevolence's first proper U.S. headline run, which feels long overdue.

The tour runs 17 dates starting March 31 in Detroit and wrapping April 23 in Milwaukee, with stops in Nashville, Houston, and two Canadian dates. Chamber is supporting the entire run. Tickets are available now at mlvltd.com and guilttripmhc.com.

Bumbershoot 2026: Turnstile and Death Cab Headline Seattle

Bumbershoot is back September 5 and 6 at Seattle Center, and the lineup is excellent. Saturday is headlined by Turnstile, who earned two Grammy nominations earlier this year for Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Album. Sunday belongs to hometown heroes Death Cab for Cutie, who have a new album, I Built You a Tower, coming June 5.

The undercard is stacked too. Orville Peck, Blood Orange, Bikini Kill, De La Soul, Molchat Doma, Yves Tumor, Peaches, Die Spitz, Atarashii Gakko, Sudan Archives, and more. Single day GA tickets start at $70, weekend passes at $125. Full info at bumbershoot.com.

Darker Waves 2026: Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, and a Stacked New Wave Bill

Darker Waves is returning to Huntington Beach on November 14 for its fourth year, and the lineup might be the best one yet. Smashing Pumpkins and Morrissey headline the single-day event at City Beach, with 35 artists across three stages.

The rest of the bill reads like a wishlist. Simple Minds, Bad Religion, Adam Ant, The Psychedelic Furs, Soft Cell, The Damned, Gary Numan, Silversun Pickups, Buzzcocks, Circle Jerks, Marky Ramone, Cold Cave, TR/ST, and more. Plus Gene are playing their first U.S. show since 2002. That alone is worth noting.

Terror: Still Suffer North American Tour

Terror are back on the road in support of their ninth studio album Still Suffer, out April 24. The run kicked off April 22 in Denver and stretches all the way to June 6 at Festival Au Lac in Granby, QC. Pain of Truth, End It, and Start Today are along for the full ride. The tour also includes stops at Sick New World, Overcome Fest, and Tied Down Detroit. If you know, you know. This is one of the most stacked hardcore packages of the year.

Behemoth: The Godless IV Tour

Behemoth are headlining a 24-date North American run called The Godless IV Tour, with Deicide, Rotting Christ, and Immolation in support. It kicked off April 14 in San Diego and wraps May 21 at the Hollywood Palladium. The bill also includes festival stops at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple. Four bands of that caliber on one ticket is genuinely absurd.

Dethklok and Amon Amarth: The Amonklok Conquest

This is the first time Dethklok and Amon Amarth have ever toured together, and they're calling it The Amonklok Conquest. The co-headlining run started April 15 in Phoenix and goes through May 21 in Las Vegas, with Castle Rat providing support. Both bands are also appearing at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple. Celebrating 20 years of Metalocalypse, Dethklok also added a handful of standalone headline dates around the tour.

Bring Me The Horizon: N. American Ascension Program 2

Bring Me The Horizon are running through arenas from April 28 in Toronto through May 16 in Columbus, with Motionless In White, The Plot In You, and Amira Elfeky in support. The run includes Madison Square Garden on May 2 and wraps at Sonic Temple. This is the second leg of the Ascension Program, and if the first one is any indication, expect massive production.

Motionless In White: The Sweat and Blood Tour

Motionless In White are headlining their first American tour in nearly three years. The Sweat and Blood Tour launches July 14 in Bridgeport, CT and runs through August 15 in Sterling Heights, MI, with Lorna Shore, Fit For A King, and Static Dress in support. The run includes their first-ever headlining show at Red Rocks. This one is going to be massive.

My Chemical Romance: Long Live The Black Parade

The big one. My Chemical Romance are doing a full stadium tour in 2026, running August 9 through three nights at the Hollywood Bowl closing out in late October. Every date has a different opener. Franz Ferdinand in New York, Iggy Pop in Detroit, Modest Mouse in DC, Sleater-Kinney in Minneapolis, The Breeders in Denver, Babymetal in San Diego, Jimmy Eat World in Phoenix, and The Mars Volta in San Antonio. There's no world where this isn't the tour of the year.

AFI: Spring Midwest and West Coast Run

AFI are hitting the road with Choir Boy this spring, starting April 15 in Seattle and wrapping May 2 in Minneapolis. The run covers the West Coast, Southwest, and Midwest, with a stop at Sick New World in Las Vegas along the way. Tickets are on sale now.

Pixies: 40th Anniversary Tour

The Pixies are celebrating 40 years with a world tour that hits the U.S. in September. The domestic leg runs September 15 in Greenville, SC through September 26 in Tucson, AZ, with stops at Borderland Music Festival and Sea.Hear.Now along the way. If you haven't seen them live yet, this is the one.

Eagles of Death Metal: Death By Sexy 20th Anniversary

Eagles of Death Metal are touring the 20th anniversary of Death By Sexy, playing the album in full plus fan favorites. The run kicks off August 3 at Belly Up in Solana Beach and wraps September 3 at The Bellwether in LA, hitting cities across the country in between. Jesse Hughes and crew doing that album front to back is going to be a good time.

Bleeding Through: The Truth 20th Anniversary

Bleeding Through are celebrating 20 years of The Truth with a run of shows in June, including Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland from June 12 to 14, with I Declare War and Extortionist. They've also added Texas dates. If you were in the OC metalcore scene in the mid-2000s, this one hits different.

$uicideboy$: Grey Day Tour with Drain

The Grey Day Tour returns in 2026 as a 33-date arena run produced by Live Nation. It opens August 29 in Shakopee, MN and runs through late October, featuring a rotating lineup of Destroy Lonely, Shoreline Mafia, Drain, Shakewell, and Black Kray. A dollar from every ticket goes to PLUS1 mental health initiatives.

Make Them Suffer: May Mini-Tour

Make Them Suffer are doing a short U.S. run in May with Not Enough Space, starting May 9 in Pensacola and hitting Chattanooga, Memphis, and Springfield before landing at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple. Quick and efficient.

Smoking Popes: Summer Run with Alien Boy

The Smoking Popes are heading out this summer with Alien Boy, with dates confirmed in June through August including stops in San Diego. More dates are expected to be announced. If you're into melodic punk with heart, this is a no-brainer.

That's the roundup. 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest touring years in recent memory. Whether you're into hardcore, metal, punk, or stadium rock, there's something on this list for you. Keep checking back because we're updating this as more tours drop.
