I Promised the World Announce 20-Date Summer Headline Tour

I Promised the World are not slowing down. The Denton, Texas post-hardcore band just announced a 20-date U.S. headline tour this summer, running July 1 through July 25, and the routing hits just about every corner of the country. If you caught them opening for The Devil Wears Prada earlier this year, you already know these guys are ready to carry a room on their own.
The run kicks off July 1 in Nashville at The '58 at Eastside Bowl and routes through Pittsburgh, Montreal, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up July 25 in Austin at Far Out Lounge. This is the extended headline push behind their self-titled EP, which dropped January 16 through Rise Records. Tickets and info are available now at ipromisedtheworld.com.
The Support Lineup
The bill on this one is well-curated. Fellow Texas post-hardcore act Rosasharin are riding along for the full run. They're signed to Ephyra Recordings, they've already toured with Deafheaven and Koyo, and they were on the January headline run with IPTW too. The chemistry between these two bands is clearly there. guilt. is also on the bill throughout the tour.
Then there's A Static Lullaby joining on select dates. I'll be real, seeing that name on this bill got me. The California post-hardcore veterans reunited in August 2025 for a sold-out show at The Observatory in Orange County, and what was supposed to be a one-off turned into a full comeback. They've got a live in-studio re-recording of their 2003 debut …And Don't Forget To Breathe dropping May 15 via Smartpunk Records. So they're coming into these summer dates with real momentum. The generational crossover between ASL and IPTW is exactly the kind of billing that makes these package tours special.
The Hellfest NJ Slot
Worth noting that the July 5 date in Jackson Township, NJ isn't a standalone headline show. That's a festival slot at Hellfest NJ 2026, the revived Northeast festival put together by Trustkill Records, Ephyra, and Takedown Events. It runs July 3-5 at The Dome at Adventure Crossing, with headliners including Hatebreed and Glassjaw. Both I Promised the World and Rosasharin are on that lineup, so if you're already making the trip to Hellfest, you'll get them in a festival setting too.

Why This Tour Matters
If you've been following this band's trajectory, you know this has been building for a while. They started as Sw!tch back in 2020, became Sinema, and rebranded to I Promised the World in May 2025. The Rise Records signing in November 2025 was a turning point. Stereogum's Tom Breihan situated them in the broader early-2000s post-hardcore revival, and Stereogum's Eli Enis called the Rise signing a significant moment for the wave of metalcore revival coming out of the hardcore scene.
The self-titled EP was produced and engineered by Jon Markson (Drug Church, GEL) and Adam Cichocki (Love Is Noise, Thank You Scientist). Five tracks that collide post-hardcore melodies with abrasive screamo, and it's currently sitting at #21 in the best EPs of 2026 on Rate Your Music. That's not hype. That's a band connecting with people.
Honestly, the oldest member of this band is 21. They've already done a January headline run, a full support tour with The Devil Wears Prada through March and April, and they're already planning to hit the studio for a full-length. This summer headline run is the next step, and with Sound Talent Group handling booking (the same agency that reps Parkway Drive, Pierce the Veil, Circa Survive, and The Devil Wears Prada), the infrastructure behind them is serious.
Don't Sleep on This
Twenty dates across the country, strong support on every night, and a festival slot at Hellfest NJ baked into the middle of it. If you haven't seen I Promised the World live yet, this summer is the time. These rooms are going to be packed, and they're only going to get bigger from here. Grab tickets at ipromisedtheworld.com before they're gone.
