From Grit to Groove: DON BROCO’s Singles Lead Up to “Euphoria”

Someone recommended this track to me earlier this week, and honestly, I’m grateful they did because DON BROCO’s newest single, “Euphoria,” has been living rent-free in my head ever since. It’s the fourth and latest release in their current run of singles, and even though it only dropped days ago, fans are on the edge of their seats with each new release. Out of the four, this one comes across, at least to me, as the calmest, but don’t mistake that for softness. It still lands with that signature BROCO punch, slipping into a groove that feels seamlessly intimate, while carrying anthem-like lyrics that elevate the sensual energy. There’s a smoothness to it, but also this magnetic pull, like the song knows exactly how it wants you to move.

For anyone new to the band, DON BROCO is an English rock outfit formed in 2008, born out of Bedford, and powered by the chemistry of four members: Rob Damiani on vocals, Simon Delaney on guitar, Tom Doyle on bass and programming, and Matt Donnelly on drums with both lead and backing vocals. They’ve built a reputation on energetic, genre-blurring music and jaw-dropping, unforgettable live performances. Across four studio albums, Priorities, Automatic, Technology, and Amazing Things, they’ve climbed the UK charts with increasing impact, even earning a No. 1 spot along the way. They’ve headlined their own tours, supported giants like Bring Me the Horizon and 5 Seconds of Summer, and hit massive festivals from Reading and Leeds to Download and Rock am Ring. Everything about their career so far shows a band constantly evolving while staying true to the core that fans fell in love with, which is something that can be easy to lose on a constant climb.

That evolution shines like a diamond through their recent singles. Each track has made out its own unique corner of the BROCO soundscape. “Cellophane,” which quickly became my favorite, hits with a sharp, gritty edge, leaning into a nu-metal-flavored heaviness. “Hype Man” is a lowkey blast of swagger and frenzy, full of explosive hooks and bursts of adrenaline. And “Disappear” pulls from a more emotional space, heavier in feeling than in sound. Each release has its own packed attitude, its own temperature, yet they all fit together with a natural flow, like a cohesive BROCO world. And with how varied these singles are, it’s wild that BROCO still hasn’t announced an official release date for the new album. The anticipation is very real, and it can be sensed across the fan base.

Now signed to Fearless Records, the band seems more willing than ever to wander into new territory. “Euphoria” especially leans into a sensual, atmospheric zone, a kind of cosmic glow wrapped in ‘80s inspiration. It has a dreamy shimmer, but there’s still enough punch underneath to anchor it in familiar BROCO signatures. This track doesn’t quite crash into you; it sways into your lane. It seduces. It moves with purpose. And I can’t go without mentioning the standout moment, the thing fans everywhere are hyped up about, the cherry-on-top bassline. Someone summed it up perfectly:

“That bassline just walked me right into heaven. Nice.”

Gotta give credit where it’s due!

The band shared the meaning behind it, describing the song as chasing the rush of the first time:

“Euphoria is about chasing that rush of the first time, trying to recapture that brand new magical feeling again and again for the rest of your life.”

That longing sits right beneath the surface of the track, pulsing through every groove and every smooth vocal line.

With all these new sounds they’re experimenting with, imagining them live is almost too easy. DON BROCO’s shows are already known for being a whirlwind of intensity and unforgettableness. Their next performance hits December 1st at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow with State Champs, Magnolia Park, and Yonaka, with half the venues on this run already sold out. Then the U.S. picks back up for the second leg starting January 20th in Baltimore at Sound Stage. Hearing this entire batch of singles live, it’s going to be totally unreal.

Euphoria” might be the sleekest and most seductive of the four, but it still casts a line and demands attention. Retro-touched, groove-heavy, and quietly powerful, it expands the band’s universe while keeping that unmistakable BROCO imprint. And with no album date in sight yet, this single only keeps fans’ eyes peeled for the announcement. If this is the direction they’re heading, the wait is going to be worth every second.
