Wage War just unveiled one of the most stacked metalcore lineups of the fall. The Florida natives are taking the Emergency Broadcast Tour across North America starting October 25, and they're bringing We Came As Romans, Varials, and Cane Hill along for the ride. 23 dates. Four bands that all hit different. This one is going to be loud.

The run kicks off at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio and wraps up at Hard Rock Live in Orlando on November 27. In between, the tour hits rooms like House of Blues in Las Vegas, KEMBA Live! in Columbus, Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia, and HISTORY in Toronto. It's a proper coast-to-coast sweep with some genuinely great venues on the routing.

Why This Lineup Works

I'll be real, this is one of those packages where every band on the bill could headline their own tour. Wage War dropped their five-song EP IT CALLS ME BY NAME back in April through Fearless Records, and it's some of the most aggressive material they've put out. The band described it as "five tracks shaped by Florida, the swamp, and the relentless aggression of nature." Fifteen minutes of pure violence. They've been running hard all year with the It Calls Me By Name Tour in the spring, an Australian run coming up mid-year, and an Aftershock appearance in early October. This fall tour picks up right where all of that leaves off.

We Came As Romans are in the middle of a massive year. Their seventh album All Is Beautiful... Because We're Doomed came out in 2025, and they've been tearing through European summer festivals like Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Nova Rock, and Download Festival. They're also confirmed for Vans Warped Tour in 2026. This is a band that's been building momentum nonstop since weathering the tragic loss of original clean vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018. The fact that they're still out here going this hard says everything.

Varials are coming in hot off their fourth album Where the Light Leaves, which dropped in February through Fearless Records. It's their first record with new vocalist Skyler Conder, and honestly, it's a return to form. After Scars For You to Remember leaned heavily into electronic elements, this album strips all of that back and gets back to the raw, heavy metalcore that put them on the map. They're finishing up a European run supporting The Amity Affliction in September and October, then jumping straight into this. The Philly crew is going to be road-tested and ready to go.

And then there's Cane Hill rounding out the bill. The New Orleans outfit released a piece of me i never let you find in November 2024, their first full-length since 2018's Too Far Gone. Their blend of post-hardcore and nu-metal hits different from everyone else on this lineup, and that's exactly what makes this package work. You've got Florida swamp metalcore, Michigan melodic heaviness, Philly hardcore aggression, and New Orleans grit all on one stage every night.

Don't Sleep On This
