Dying Wish Announce Stacked Summer U.S. Tour With Guilt Trip and More

Dying Wish just locked in one of the most stacked headlining runs of the summer. The Portland metalcore outfit is hitting the road from July 13 through August 5 with Guilt Trip, Holder, Contention, and Surfaced rotating through support slots along the way. Throw in solo festival appearances at Rock Fest, Inkcarceration, Upheaval Festival, and Warped Tour, and you've got a summer run that covers a ridiculous amount of ground.

If you've been following Dying Wish since Fragments of a Bitter Memory dropped in 2021, you already know how hard this band goes. They leveled up with Symptoms of Survival in 2023, and now they've got a brand new album, Flesh Stays Together, set to arrive September 26 via SharpTone Records. The album was produced by Will Putney, the guy behind records from Knocked Loose, Nothing, and Full of Hell. So yeah, expect that thing to hit different. The first single, "I'll Know You're Not Around," is already out with an official video if you want a taste of what's coming.

The Support Lineup

I'll be real, the support on this tour is no filler. Guilt Trip are a Manchester, UK five-piece who have been building serious momentum. They recently signed to Roadrunner Records and have a debut LP in the works for the label. If you caught their album Severance on MLVLTD, you know they bring this nasty blend of hardcore and metal with enough groove to make you lose it. They've been racking up tens of millions of streams and packing rooms, so catching them in these club settings is a move.

Contention is Tampa edge metal that has been steadily building since 2019. Their debut full-length Artillery From Heaven came out via DAZE Records and it's exactly the kind of aggression that makes a perfect fit on this bill. Holder is another DAZE act with a self-titled release under their belt. They're newer but worth paying attention to. And Surfaced, a Louisville-area metalcore band with their album Where Angels Fear to Tread out now on 1126 Records, kicks things off on the opening night in their hometown. That's a great look.

A Massive 2025 for Dying Wish

Honestly, this summer tour is just one piece of a year that Dying Wish are clearly going all in on. After this run wraps, they're heading out with Poppy and MSPAINT on a U.S. tour that includes festival sets at Louder Than Life and Aftershock. Then they're off to Europe supporting Malevolence with Speed and PSYCHO-FRAME. And to close out the year, they've got a full headlining fall tour called the "Flesh Stays Together Tour" with Static Dress, Gouge Away, Orthodox, and Boltcutter, wrapping up with the second annual Dying Wishmas event at Roseland Theater in Portland on December 12. That's their hometown. That's going to be something.

If you haven't seen Dying Wish live yet, this is the summer to fix that. Emma Boster is one of the most ferocious vocalists in heavy music right now and this band does not let up for a single second on stage. With a new album on the way and a lineup of support acts that would be worth showing up early for on their own, don't sleep on these dates. Check Dying Wish's tour page for tickets and updates.
