Imminence Announce Massive Fall North American Tour With Dying Wish and Gaerea

Imminence just locked in a proper North American run for this fall. 22 dates. Dying Wish and Gaerea as support. If you've been paying attention to what this Swedish band has been doing over the last couple years, you already know this is going to be a problem for every venue on the routing.
The tour kicks off November 13 in Worcester, MA and wraps December 13 in Montreal, QC, weaving through major markets and some seriously impressive rooms along the way. Pre-sale started today (June 16), and general on-sale launches Friday, June 19 at 10AM local time. Grab tickets here.
Why Imminence Keeps Selling Out
I'll be real, Imminence's trajectory in North America has been wild to watch. Their very first headlining tour here back in December 2023 sold out in 48 hours. Since then, they've been scaling up venues with every run. Now they're hitting rooms like The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Riviera Theatre in Chicago, and HISTORY in Toronto. That's a massive step up, and the fact that they can fill those rooms says everything about where this band is headed.
If you haven't caught them live yet, the thing that sets them apart is vocalist Eddie Berg also playing violin throughout the set. Fans have coined the term "violincore" for a reason. The orchestral string arrangements layered over their metalcore foundation creates something you genuinely won't see from any other band on the circuit right now. Over 400 million streams and more than a million followers across platforms, and they're still building.
The band is touring behind their fifth album The Black, which dropped in April 2024, along with its expanded edition The Return of The Black that came out in March 2025. That extended version packed in three new tracks, three remixes, and five new editions of songs featuring guest vocalists from bands like Holding Absence, Orbit Culture, Bleed From Within, and Ne Obliviscaris. Honestly, stacked.
The Support Lineup Is No Joke
This bill is diverse but it all fits together perfectly. Dying Wish out of Portland are bringing the brutality. Bandleader Emma Boster can go from clean singing to absolute hellfire beast-roars without blinking, and their live energy is relentless. They dropped their third album Flesh Stays Together in September 2025 via SharpTone, recorded with producer Will Putney (the guy behind records from Knocked Loose and Full of Hell). They've been touring hard, including a co-headlining run with Pain of Truth in late 2024 and a support slot with Poppy in fall 2025. They're primed for this.
Then you've got Gaerea, the masked collective from Porto, Portugal. These guys put on a full sensory experience. It's ritualistic, it's ferocious, and it blurs the line between concert and performance art. They released their fifth album Loss in March 2026 via Century Media, their first on the label, so they'll be touring behind fresh material. They've proven themselves on stages at Wacken, Inferno, and Summer Breeze, and on tours alongside Zeal & Ardor and Orbit Culture. You're getting alternative metalcore, brutal metalcore, and post-black metal all on one bill. It just works.

Don't Sleep on This One
All three bands on this bill are riding fresh album cycles into the fall. Imminence with The Return of The Black, Dying Wish with Flesh Stays Together, and Gaerea with Loss. That means every set on this tour is going to be loaded with material these bands are hungry to play. The energy in those rooms is going to be something else.
Given how fast Imminence's previous tours have sold out, I wouldn't wait around. General on-sale is Friday, June 19 at 10AM local time. Get your tickets through Live Nation or Ticketmaster before they're gone.
