Dogma Forced to Postpone Entire U.S. Tour Over Visa Processing Delays

This one stings. Dogma were set to kick off their "Time to Rise Pt. 1" U.S. tour today in Seattle, and instead fans woke up to the news that the entire run has been postponed. The reason? Visa processing delays. It's a frustratingly common problem for international acts trying to tour the States, and it's hit Dogma at the worst possible time.

The band broke the news on March 14 across their social channels, addressing their U.S. fans directly. "Due to unforeseen delays in the visa processing timeline, Dogma must postpone our upcoming U.S. tour dates," the statement read. They went on to say this was supposed to be the moment they finally gathered with their "U.S. sinners" and that new songs were going to be revealed for the first time during these shows. That part really hurts.

The good news is that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. The band says they're working with promoters and venues right now to lock those in, so hold onto your tickets.

The Full List of Postponed Dates

This was a proper 15-date run spanning coast to coast with Frayle as support. Here's every date that's now on hold:

March 15 – Seattle, WA – Substation
March 17 – San Francisco, CA – The Independent

March 18 – Los Angeles, CA – 1720

March 19 – Reno, NV – The Alpine

March 20 – Anaheim, CA – House Of Blues

March 21 – San Diego, CA – House Of Blues

March 24 – San Antonio, TX – Vibes Studio

March 25 – Dallas, TX – Trees

March 27 – Madison, WI – The Annex At The Red Zone

March 28 – Joliet, IL – The Forge

March 29 – Chesterfield, MI – Diesel Concert Lounge

March 31 – New York, NY – The Gramercy Theater

April 1 – Washington, DC – Black Cat

April 2 – Bethlehem, PA – Fowler Blast Furnace Room

April 3 – Philadelphia, PA – Kung Fu Necktie

That's a lot of cities left hanging. Venues like The Forge, 1720, and The Gramercy were going to be packed for this.

This Isn't New Territory for Dogma

I'll be real, visa issues for international touring acts are nothing new, but Dogma seem to have a particularly rough history with U.S. entry. Former guitarist Patri Grief was previously fired from the group reportedly due to problems obtaining a visa, and there was an incident where members were interrogated and detained for 48 hours before being sent back home. So this is a pattern, not a one-off.

And honestly, the visa situation is just one layer of a much messier year for the band. Late 2025 brought a wave of controversy when three key members, singer Grace Jane Pasturini, guitarist Amber Maldonado, and guitarist Patri Grief, left the group after alleging manipulation and mistreatment by management. That fallout led to Hardline Media canceling Dogma's planned Australian tour entirely. The three former members have since formed a new project called VindictA.

So when Dogma announced this U.S. tour back in January, it felt like a bold move given everything that had just gone down. Now the visa delay adds another chapter to what's been a turbulent stretch.

New Music Was Part of the Plan

What makes this postponement extra painful is that the tour was supposed to be a debut for new material. The band specifically mentioned that "the first masses where our new songs were meant to be revealed will now arrive later than we had hoped." For fans who've been spinning the self-titled debut album since its November 2023 release, the promise of hearing fresh tracks live was a huge draw. Songs like Father I Have Sinned and Forbidden Zone have built this band a serious following, and new material would have taken those shows to another level.

What to Do If You Have Tickets

Hold onto them. The band confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Once the new routing is announced, your ticket should transfer over automatically. Keep an eye on Dogma's official website and their socials for updates. We'll post the rescheduled dates as soon as they're confirmed.

Hopefully the visa situation gets sorted quickly and these dates get locked back in. A lot of people were ready for this one.
