From root to edge, the unseen are heard

From the first moment, CHATTER’s world envelops listeners, fusing theatrical intensity, visceral emotion, and unsettling, horror-leaning storytelling. The project has been unfolding with intention, revealing itself a slight piece by piece rather than all at once.

CHATTER’s growth has been steady and organic, with monthly Spotify listeners now sitting around 32,000. Just as notable is the fanbase forming around the project, one that already feels extremely committed and personally invested. So much that fans are already getting tattoos! It’s the kind of community that doesn’t just stream songs, but actively shows up, engages, and connects with the themes being explored (I would know, as I have infiltrated the street team). When a new visualizer dropped, the live chat flooded with teeth emojis, a playful nod to the project’s recurring theme, as fans collectively braced for what was about to unfold.

“I love CHATTER's aesthetic but even more so, I love that he feels like a voice for the voiceless. I'm looking forward to seeing what CHATTER does in the future and to see how it all unfolds.” – Casper (CHATTER street team member)

Musically, CHATTER has always been about very dense musical architecture, electronic and classic noises, and notable genre blending. From emo-tinged vocals over distorted guitars to atmospheric synths and industrial percussion, each track feels like you are part of the storyline in the CHATTER show. PANIC showcased theatrical intensity and narrative-driven arrangements, while PRETTY TEETH added even more musical detail, mixing catchy hooks with darker, unsettling undertones that linger in the brain just a bit (or much more) long after the track ends. These elements are genius production choices that help shape the immersive world CHATTER creates, inviting curious listeners to step inside.

“I love how CHATTER gives a place for the unheard to BE heard, it’s a place for everybody to be themselves. And the music itself is phenomenal, PRETTY TEETH is absolutely still on repeat.” – Noah B. (CHATTER street team member)

That invitation has also been reinforced through moments like the promotion of PRETTY TEETH, which included a collaboration spotlight with Johnnie Guilbert. The track was framed as a message for those who have felt, as told, “unseen, unheard, or reduced to a punchline,” further locking in CHATTER’s focus on giving voice to shared and very personal experiences. Instead of coming across as a one-off moment, it felt like a natural extension of the larger story CHATTER is building. We are so curious as to how it will pan out!

From earlier releases like PANIC, paired with a striking Halloween school dance visual, to PRETTY TEETH and beyond, the project feels constructed from the inside out with multiple creatives at the very root. Set during a Halloween dance at Happy Valley High School, the PANIC video follows a night that begins with whispers, mockery, and isolation before spiraling into something far more sinister. What starts as a familiar teenage setting slowly mutates into a horror-charged origin story, establishing the emotional and visual language that would come to define CHATTER’s world.

The video featured a standout cast that rooted the project firmly in genre culture. John Kassir, the iconic voice of the Cryptkeeper from Tales from the Crypt, appears alongside horror favorite Russell Todd of Friday the 13th Part 2, Jose Mangin, Sirius XM Metal Ambassador, alt-pop artist Royal and The Serpent, and Brent Burdett of Beauty School Dropout. The visual also included familiar faces from within the community, including the Video Vixens Jocelyn and Natasha, along with other friends and collaborators, reinforcing how personal and collective the project feels. Check out the video below if you want to see some amazing feed for the eyes; everything about it is a masterpiece.

Each release bleeds from the center and travels outward, expanding the universe step by step. The production feels crafted from the root up, allowing listeners to settle into the atmosphere and story as it grows. Every visual and sonic choice adds another layer, revealing one tooth at a time, inviting fans deeper into the experience rather than asking them to take it all in at once.

That same energy carries into CHATTER’s cover of Bullet With Butterfly Wings by The Smashing Pumpkins. Just a cover is not what we would call this release; it’s a total natural extension of CHATTER’s emotional world. Heavy riffs hit like a cavity, dramatic vocals twist throughout, and layered synths and industrial percussion grind against the tension, pushing it higher. The track builds like a live show, with addictively aching climaxes and sharp pauses that make you feel it in the core of your chest. Familiar yet completely transformed, CHATTER become the actual song, turning angst into something theatrical, immersive, and above all else, unforgettable.

Down to the enamel, CHATTER exists as an escape for those who need one, offering space for anger, transformation, and emotional reckoning without softening the edges. It’s a place to crash out in openness, to wild out when you need to, and to express yourself without holding back. For fans looking to connect beyond the screen, CHATTER can be found at Creep Con today at the Bloody Disgusting booth.
