Jimmy Eat World Expand Their Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour With New East Coast Dates

Jimmy Eat World aren't done adding shows to this thing. The band just announced a handful of new East Coast dates for their Bleed American 25th anniversary tour, and if you missed out on the first wave of tickets, this is your second chance to lock something in.
The new dates include a June 22nd show in Nantucket, Massachusetts at The Muse, which is notably not a Bleed American anniversary set. Then the band heads to Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 24th and Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on June 25th. Both of those will be full anniversary shows with The Wonder Years and Girls Against Boys in support.
What You're Getting at These Shows
For anyone who needs the refresher, Bleed American dropped on July 24, 2001 through DreamWorks Records and completely changed the trajectory of Jimmy Eat World. The album went platinum in 2002, has sold 1.7 million copies to date, and gave us "The Middle", which hit number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, climbed to number five on the Hot 100, and crossed a billion streams on Spotify in 2024. That song is genuinely generational.
The anniversary shows will feature the entirety of Bleed American performed live, along with additional songs from across the catalog. The band has said the full album might not be played in strict tracklist order, but honestly that just makes it more interesting. Jim Adkins put it best when he said, "Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way." The production is supposed to be elevated too, reflecting 25 years of growth as a live act.
The Support Lineup Is Absurd
I'll be real, the rotating support on this tour reads like a festival lineup on its own. Across all the dates, you've got Sunny Day Real Estate, The Get Up Kids, Minus the Bear, Motion City Soundtrack, Thrice, PUP, Hot Mulligan, Hey Mercedes, Mom Jeans, Illuminati Hotties, Sparta, Texas Is the Reason, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and more. Every single date has something special on the bill.
The Phoenix show on September 6th is particularly wild because that one has My Chemical Romance on the bill at Chase Field. If you're in the Southwest, circle that one.
Warped Tour and Festival Stops
On top of the headline dates, Jimmy Eat World are making appearances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, DC (June 13-14), Long Beach (July 25-26), Montreal (August 22), Mexico City (September 12-13), and Orlando (November 14-15). This marks the band's return to Warped Tour for the first time in 25 years, which is a whole thing in itself. They've also got festival stops at Louder Than Life in Louisville on September 17th and Shaky Knees in Atlanta on September 19th.
The tour also stretches internationally with UK dates in Halifax, Cardiff, and London in August, plus Canadian stops in Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto.
