Four cruises. Four sellouts. And Creed is not slowing down. The band just announced the fifth sailing of the Summer of '99 & Beyond Cruise, and this lineup might be the best one yet. We're talking Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Hoobastank, Drowning Pool, and a whole lot more. April 17 through 21, 2027, sailing from Miami to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Joy.

I'll be real, the fact that this cruise keeps selling out immediately tells you everything you need to know about where Creed stands right now. Since reuniting in July 2023, they've played over 60 dates in 2024, another 30 in 2025, headlined their own two-day land festival, and pulled record crowds at just about every stop. The comeback has been real. The demand is through the roof. And this cruise is the crown jewel of the whole operation.

The Full 2027 Lineup

Creed will be performing two pool deck headline sets, which has been the format since the very first sailing. Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips doing what they do best with the ocean behind them. There's honestly nothing quite like it.

Beyond Creed, the supporting lineup is absolutely stacked. Breaking Benjamin are billed as the very special guests, and they're coming in hot. The band has 10 number one songs on mainstream rock radio, billions of combined streams, and they've been working on a new album that could land sometime in 2026. Their last full-length of new material was Ember in 2018, so fans are starving for new music, and a cruise set from them is going to go off.

Here's the full confirmed lineup so far:

Creed (two pool deck headline sets), Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Zach Myers (of Shinedown), Hoobastank, Our Lady Peace, Hinder, Fuel, Drowning Pool, Fastball, Sponge, The Flys, and Ashes of Billy, with more acts still to be announced. Eddie Trunk and DJ Rock Feed are returning as hosts.

That's a murderer's row of late '90s and early 2000s rock. Sevendust has been one of the tightest live bands in hard rock for over two decades. Drowning Pool is going to have the entire ship chanting "Bodies" at full volume. Our Lady Peace bringing that Canadian alt-rock energy. Fastball performing "The Way" on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Honestly, you couldn't design a better setlist for this era of rock if you tried.

Ticket Details and Early Booking Perks

Here's what you need to know if you want to get on this thing. Alumni pre-sales run April 30 through May 1 and May 4 through 5. If you've sailed before, that's your window. First round presale signups are open now through May 4 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Final round presale signups close May 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The public on-sale is May 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET, exclusively at summerof99cruise.com. There's a $100 savings available during the presale window, but prices go up once public on-sale hits. Given that all four previous sailings sold out, I wouldn't sit on this one.

And here's a nice incentive: the first 850 cabins booked get to choose one of three exclusive perks. You can grab an exclusive 30-minute Creed acoustic set, a photo with the band, or a 30-minute Q&A session with Breaking Benjamin. All subject to availability, so the earlier you book, the better your odds.

The Ship and the Destination

The 2027 voyage sails on the Norwegian Joy, departing from Miami on April 17 and returning April 21. For those keeping track, the cruise has grown over the years. The original 2024 sailing was on the Norwegian Pearl out of Miami, and a second 2024 sailing went out on the Norwegian Jade from Port Canaveral. The Norwegian Joy is a serious upgrade.

The ship itself is loaded. We're talking 11 unique dining options, fully stocked bars everywhere you look, go-karts, mini-golf, a pool deck with hot tubs and waterslides, the Joy Club Casino, Mandara Spa, a fitness center, and a sports court. It's a floating resort that happens to have some of the best rock bands on the planet playing all day and night.

The destination stop is Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, a private island with white sand beaches and crystal clear water. If you purchase a beverage package for the cruise, it works on the island too. Shore excursions will be available to book about four to six weeks before sailing.

Why This Cruise Keeps Selling Out

If you've been paying attention to the Creed reunion story, it's honestly one of the best comeback narratives in rock right now. The band played their first reunion show on the inaugural Summer of '99 cruise in April 2024. That sold out instantly. They followed it with The Summer of '99 Tour, their first full run since 2012, hitting over 40 cities. Then came 2025 with another 30 dates and a two-day festival of their own.

Part of what fueled the whole thing was the Texas Rangers using "Higher" as their anthem during the 2023 World Series run. Singalongs at the stadium, viral moments everywhere. It brought Creed back into the cultural conversation in a way nobody expected, and their streaming numbers surged.

The band's catalog speaks for itself. Human Clay is RIAA Diamond certified with over 11 million U.S. sales, putting them in the same company as Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, and Metallica. Both Human Clay and Weathered debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Over a billion Spotify streams. 53 million albums sold worldwide. These numbers are insane, and hearing "With Arms Wide Open" and "My Sacrifice" on a pool deck in the middle of the ocean hits completely different.

New Creed Music Could Be Coming

Here's something worth keeping an eye on. Mark Tremonti recently revealed in an interview that he plans to start working on new Creed music with Scott Stapp in mid-2026. The band hasn't released new material since Full Circle back in 2009, so we're talking about potentially the first new Creed songs in nearly two decades. Tremonti explained that the touring schedule since the reunion has been so packed that there simply wasn't time to write and record. But that window is opening up. If timing works out, there could be new music in the mix by the time this cruise sails in April 2027.

Don't Sleep on This

The Summer of '99 & Beyond Cruise is put together in partnership with Sixthman, who have been running music cruises for over two decades and know exactly how to do it right. Between the performances, the artist experiences, the Q&A sessions, the immersive activities, and all the amenities on the Norwegian Joy, this is as close to a perfect rock vacation as it gets.
