Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder Team Up for Massive Fall Tour

Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder are about to make your fall a whole lot heavier. The two melodic death metal titans just announced the "Wrath Across America 2026" co-headlining tour, a 30-date run across the US and Canada kicking off October 5 in Riverside, California and wrapping November 16 in Seattle.
This is a stacked bill from top to bottom. Joining the headliners for the full run are Septicflesh, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile. That's five bands deep, every night, all death metal. Good luck picking who to stand in the pit for.
A New Era for Arch Enemy
This tour carries extra weight for Arch Enemy fans. It marks the band's first North American tour with new vocalist Lauren Hart, who was officially unveiled as the band's new frontwoman back in February. Hart, who previously fronted Once Human, becomes the fourth lead singer in the Swedish melodic death metal institution's 30-year history, following Johan Liiva, Angela Gossow, and Alissa White-Gluz.
The band dropped the single "To The Last Breath" alongside the Hart announcement, and honestly, it rips. If you've been wondering what this new chapter sounds like, the Kerrang write-up digs into the whole thing. Hart already made her live debut with the band in Beijing back in March, and they've got a run of intimate European club dates this summer before heading to North America in the fall.
Guitarist Michael Amott is clearly fired up about the run. "North America, we are proud to announce our return, joined by the formidable Black Dahlia Murder," Amott said. "An exceptional lineup, built for those who live and breathe pure fucking metal. We look forward to bringing you a new era of Arch Enemy to a city near you. Be there!"
The Black Dahlia Murder Keep Rolling
The Black Dahlia Murder are continuing to ride the momentum behind their tenth studio album Servitude, which dropped in September 2024 via Metal Blade Records. That record was a massive moment for the band. It was their first album with Brian Eschbach handling lead vocals after the tragic passing of co-founder and frontman Trevor Strnad in 2022. The fact that they came back with something that raw and vital says everything about this band's resilience.
Critics were all over it. Blabbermouth called it "a collection of raging riffs and solid gold grooves," Metal Injection went with "fucking killer death metal," and Distorted Sound crowned them "one of melodeath's greatest, most consistent bands." I'll be real, Servitude lives up to all of that.
Drummer Alan Cassidy is keeping things light about the pairing: "I'd take my arch enemy to see The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy! Then throw them in the pit."
The Support Lineup
The undercard deserves your attention too. Septicflesh are a Greek symphonic death metal force that have been at it since 1990. If you know, you know. They bring an orchestral intensity that pairs perfectly with a bill like this. Crypta, the Brazilian extreme metal trio, and Thrown Into Exile round things out. Five bands a night, every night. You're getting your money's worth.
