The Belasco housed a wide range of energy in the presence of a few bands.

Deaf Club kicked off the night with explosive and chaotic energy that more than warmed up the crowd for the rest of the night.

Later followed by the more contrasting blend of metal and something almost meditative from Cynic that would soon be deemed the calm before the storm.

Once The Dillinger Escape Plan stepped onto that stage, it was a jarring shift from the lead's initial stoic presence upon entry into something far more guttural and intense. Each individual band member driving forth that intensity and feeding off the similarly ecstatic energy of the crowd.
