She Past Away: A Romantic Night at The Novo

In the spirit of February, a month seeped in romance and seduction, She Past Away took over The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles on February 7th, casting a shadow of melancholy and desire over every soul in attendance.

Whether it was your first encounter with the band or you've followed them for years, the evening was nothing short of magnetic. The Turkish post-punk duo filled the room with waves of reverb-drenched guitar, pulsing synths, and Volkan Caner's deep, hypnotic vocals that seemed to pull you into a trance you didn't want to wake up from.

Volkan Caner commanded vocals and guitar with a smooth, tantalizing control that felt almost seductive, while Doruk Ozturkcan held down the synths and drum machines with an unwavering pulse that kept the crowd moving from start to finish.

Having previously witnessed the duo at Cruel World Festival in 2025, it came as no surprise that their full headline set would be an unforgettable experience. She Past Away proved once again why they're one of the most captivating live acts in the dark music scene.
Stompers off to you, She Past Away.
