What better way to kick off a Warped Tour revival weekend than with a gritty, intimate, all-girl party? The Locker Room at the Garden Amp turned into a scene kid fever dream, headlined by two acts who brought their own brand of chaos and power: Millionaires and Sophie Powers.

Millionaires made it very clear that they were there to party. Scene icons Melissa Green and Meredith Hurley stepped out with full force, backed by chest-rattling bass that turned the tiny venue into a full-on club.

Their sound guys even prepped the room with bass-heavy tracks just to get it right. Inflatable dicks flying, middle fingers up, and unapologetic energy filled the space. From “Take Ur Shirt Off” to “Boss Bitch,” the duo brought nostalgia, attitude, and a beat that hit you in the gut. Melissa was all smiles and sass, while Meredith hyped up the crowd like a shot of adrenaline.

Sophie Powers (gallery) followed with a set that felt like a switch flip into the future. Gone was the bubblegum aesthetic. Sophie’s new darker, more mature vibe took center stage complete with expressive movement, and fierce presence. Her brand of hyperpop and power pop gave the room a jolt. Songs like “Nosebleed,” “U Love It,” and “Head Empty” hit hard in that raw, stripped-down space. Her Nirvana cover of “Heart-Shaped Box” felt intimate. The crowd soaked it all in. She’s clearly in her new dark era, and it's working.

Two different energies. One common thread: women owning the stage and leaving no doubt that girl power is alive, loud, and anything but soft!
