Hanabie. Bring Harajuku-core Chaos to Los Angeles with a Sold-Out Belasco Takeover
Hanabie. returned to Los Angeles at the tail end of the North American leg of their 2026 World Tour, bringing their signature Harajuku-core chaos to a packed The Belasco for two nights. Demand was so high that a second show had to be added, and I was lucky enough to catch night one on April 11.

Joining them on this stacked lineup were Enterprise Earth and Nekrogoblikon, making this one of the most unpredictable and high-energy tours to roll through the city this year.
Enterprise Earth opened the night and wasted no time setting the tone. The first scream from vocalist Travis Worland felt like it shook the entire room. This was my first time seeing them, and they made an instant impression. The band has been around since 2014, with Worland stepping in on vocals in 2022, and whatever evolution they’ve gone through led them to this moment. Heavy chugs, crushing breakdowns, and nonstop energy filled their set. They looked like they were having fun on stage. I walked away a new fan and already looking forward to catching them on a headlining run.
Then things got weird in the best way. A massive inflatable goblin head appeared on stage, signaling the arrival of Nekrogoblikon. This was my third time seeing them, and somehow it never gets old. John Goblikon came out in pink furry arm and leg warmers, leaning into a chaotic, parody-like vibe that hits hard musically. The crowd was all in. Crowd surfers were flying over the barricade, and the goblin was hip thrusting his way through the set like it was his full-time job. It was ridiculous, theatrical, and exactly what you want from a band like this.
Then came the main event. Hanabie. hit the stage one by one, each entrance met with louder screams from the crowd. The Spicy Queens had arrived.
Hanabie. delivered exactly what fans came for and more. Vocalist Yukina switched effortlessly between screams and growls, while guitarist Matsuri ripped through riffs with precision. Hettsu held down the low end, and Chika drove everything forward with blast beats.

Their Harajuku-core sound blends metalcore, hardcore, pop, and EDM into something that absolutely explodes live. Dressed in colorful kawaii outfits, they delivered one of the most visually and sonically unique sets of the year.

They opened with “NEET GAME” and closed with “Osaki ni Shitsurei Shimasu,” the track that I first introduced me and many others to the band online and helped fuel their rise in the U.S.

I may not understand every lyric, but that didn’t matter. The entire crowd was singing along in Japanese or at least trying to, and the energy never dropped. Crowd surfers kept coming, the pit stayed active, and the connection between the band and the audience was undeniable.

If you get the chance to see Hanabie., don’t wait. Get in on presale, because shows like this don’t stay available for long.
