Currents is the kind of band you turn to when your thoughts are too loud, your chest is too tight, and you need something heavier than silence to sit in. There’s no shortage of heaviness in what they do, but it’s the emotion beneath all that aggression that really gives their music its bite.

Their sound carries that perfect balance of vulnerability, atmosphere, and force, making every song feel like an open wound and a release all at once. Live, that energy only hits harder. Every riff feels massive, every scream feels earned, and the intensity they build is so consuming that it’s hard not to get swallowed up in it a little.

It’s cathartic, chaotic, and just vulnerable enough to remind you that none of it is there for show.
