Cockney Rejects Bring a Riot to The Regent

As summer cracked open last month, the Regent Theatre in downtown L.A. was primed for chaos — and The Cockney Rejects delivered. A night of pure punk pageantry unfolded under mohawks, liberty spikes, and the heavy scent of raw, unfiltered punk.

When the Oi! legends took the stage, the crowd didn’t wait — they detonated. Opening with “Flares and Slippers,” the venue instantly transformed into a sprawling pit that swallowed the entire floor. The Rejects kept the fire blazing with “Headbanger” and “I’m Not a Fool,” with a sound so raw and loud it rattled straight through my thick combat boots.

By the time the encore rolled around — “Oi Oi Oi,” of course — the room was in full riot mode. No fancy farewells, no sentimental send-offs. Just boots, sweat, and anarchy.
